What is Nanoplastia?
Nanoplastia is a professional hair smoothing service that realigns the hair fibre using low-molecular-weight actives instead of formaldehyde. In the Vitta Gold system it is performed with the arginine-based Nanoplex Arginina™ line, following a six-stage protocol: diagnosis, deep cleansing, application, processing, thermal sealing and finishing with homecare.
The professional controls the outcome. Worked to its full potential, Nanoplastia reaches a 100% straight, mirror-smooth finish on any hair type, including the most resistant and highly textured hair. Worked lighter, the same system delivers a natural anti-frizz result with movement, or even a smoother, more defined curl. That range is what makes it a signature service: the client chooses the finish, and the technique delivers it.
Who is Nanoplastia for?
- Clients who want a completely straight, mirror-smooth finish — including resistant, coarse and highly textured hair.
- Clients who prefer a natural result: anti-frizz, softer texture or smoother, more defined curls.
- Clients with coloured, blonde or bleached hair — after a diagnosis and a strand test, with Nanoplastia done first and colour or bleaching only after a safety interval.
- Salons that want a premium, repeatable service with a homecare line attached to it.
On blonde, coloured and bleached hair, a Nanoplastia with colour-protection technology (toning Violet Acid, as in Nanoplex Arginina™ Amino Fusion) delivers the best results. If the tone still needs adjusting after the service, use a safe ammonia-free toner.

What does the Nanoplastia protocol involve?
- 1Diagnosis — porosity, elasticity, chemical history, scalp condition, and a strand test when the history is unclear.
- 2Deep cleansing — wash with a cuticle-opening pre-treatment shampoo so the active reaches the cortex and cuticle evenly along the whole length. It does not have to be an aggressive clarifier; the Nanoplex Arginina™ pre-treatment opens the cuticle without stripping the fibre.
- 3Application — strand by strand, with the correct root distance and section density.
- 4Processing — full time, every time; the reaction is chemical and does not finish early because the hair already looks good.
- 5Sealing — complete drying, then thin, controlled flat-iron passes at the temperature the hair can tolerate.
- 6Finishing and homecare — neutralise, finish, and prescribe the homecare that protects the investment.

Diagnosis is the service
Every technical failure we see in Nanoplastia traces back to a diagnosis that was rushed or skipped. Time spent before the product opens is the cheapest time in the whole appointment.
How long does Nanoplastia last?
Between 3 and 6 months, depending on the hair, the technique and the homecare. Nanoplastia acts in the cortex and seals the cuticle, so the result fades gradually as the hair grows and is washed — it does not grow out with a hard line like a relaxer. Sulphate-free, salt-free homecare is what keeps a client at the longer end of that range.
Can Nanoplastia be done on coloured, blonde or bleached hair?
Yes, with diagnosis and a strand test. Do the Nanoplastia first and any colour, bleaching or other chemistry after a safety interval — never bleach and smooth in the same appointment. On blonde and highlighted hair, a formula with colour-protection technology (toning Violet Acid, as in Nanoplex Arginina™ Amino Fusion) protects the tone during the service; adjust afterwards with an ammonia-free toner if needed.
Is Nanoplastia safe and formaldehyde-free?
Safety depends on the formula, not on the word Nanoplastia — the term is a category, and formulas vary widely between manufacturers. The Nanoplex Arginina™ line used in Vitta Gold Academy training is arginine-based and formaldehyde-free, for professional use. Before buying any smoothing formula, read the ingredient list and the safety documentation, and work in a ventilated space.
Is Nanoplastia a keratin or a protein treatment?
Keratin, protein, botox, Brazilian blowout and Nanoplastia are commercial names for the same broad family: chemical hair smoothing. A Nanoplastia formula containing hydrolysed keratin is also, correctly, a keratin treatment; one built on hydrolysed proteins is also a protein treatment. What separates services is the smoothing active — glyoxylic acid, carbocysteine, pyrogallol, amino acid blends, formaldehyde and its releasers — and the quality of the raw materials. Nanoplex Arginina™ Amino Fusion combines amino-acid keratin, hydrolysed proteins and Nanoplastia technology, so it fits every one of those labels and differentiates itself on quality, safety and performance.
How much should a salon charge for Nanoplastia?
Price it as a premium technical service, not as a blow-dry. The professional method is to build the price from product cost per service, chair time, your market position and the homecare attached to it — which is exactly what the pricing article below walks through, with the profit-per-client maths.

What is Nanoplastia?
Nanoplastia is a professional hair smoothing service that realigns the hair fibre using low-molecular-weight actives instead of formaldehyde. Does Nanoplastia straighten hair permanently?
Nanoplastia can deliver a 100% straight, mirror-smooth finish on any hair type, including the most resistant, when the professional applies the full technique. It is not permanent in the sense of a relaxer: the effect fades gradually with washing and is repeated as maintenance. The same system can also be worked lighter for anti-frizz or a natural finish.
Is Nanoplastia formaldehyde-free?
It depends on the formula. The Nanoplex Arginina™ system used in Vitta Gold Academy training is arginine-based and formaldehyde-free, for professional use.
Can Nanoplastia be done on curly hair?
Yes. On curly and highly textured hair the professional decides the finish: full 100% straightening is achievable, and so is a lighter anti-frizz or curl-defining result. Diagnosis determines processing time, number of passes and sealing temperature.
How do I get certified in Nanoplastia?
The Nanoplastia Professional System™ from Vitta Gold Academy is an online certification: 9 video lessons, 3 bonus guides, a digital certificate, lifetime access, one year of the Vitta Gold Experts partner program and a 7-day money-back guarantee, for $99 USD.
